What is SIEMS?

The Energy Statistics Data Management System (SIEMS) is a comprehensive national energy database established by the Ministry of Energy & Environmental Sustainability Sarawak (MEESty) to support the dissemination and distribution of energy statistics in Sarawak to local and international stakeholders and the public.

Our Mission

To provide transparent, accurate and timely energy statistics for Sarawak, enabling evidence-based policymaking, investment planning and public awareness on energy matters across all sectors.

Data Sources

Data published on this platform is submitted by authorised organisations including government agencies, government-linked companies (GLCs), government-owned companies (GOCs) such as Sarawak Energy Berhad, PETRONAS, and other energy industry players in Sarawak. All data undergoes review and approval by MEESty administrators before publication.

Data Submission

Authorised organisations can submit energy statistics through the secure Data Portal. Each organisation is assigned specific energy sectors relevant to their operations. Submitted data is reviewed by MEESty administrators before being published to the public dashboard.
